Melissa joined BNA in August 2004. Her primary responsibility is assisting our real estate clients with their closings. Daily she corresponds with our buyers and sellers, their realtors, other attorneys, lenders and title companies. She prepares all the documents for the closings. Previously she was employed with two other Chicago firms handling foreclosures, commercial and residential real estate transactions. She received her paralegal degree at South Suburban College in 2001. |

Connie has been with the firm since 1982. As Office Manager, her responsibilities include accounting, personnel, accounts payable and receivable, the purchase of office equipment and supplies, payroll and employee benefits. Prior to her employ with Borla, North & Associates, she was the Office Manager for a Chicago law firm. |

Leah joined our firm in 1991 as a part-time real estate paralegal. In 1992 she took on the additional responsibility of job-sharing the Attorneys' Title Guaranty title work, which is now the primary focus of her duties at BNA. She handles all matters related to insuring title for both residential and commercial properties, including search orders, preparation of commitments and policies, document recordings as well as acting as the office liaison to lenders/attorneys for non-office title orders. She has been working in this field for the past 21 years including previous employment with 2 title companies and 2 law firms. |

Jackie joined Borla, North & Associates in February 1995 as our litigation paralegal. Her duties include the calendaring and monitoring of all our litigation files, preparation of pleadings, correspondence, scheduling cases on the court call and speaking with clients regarding all aspects of their files. She handles our business purchases and sales, divorce, post-decree and many other general areas of our practice. Prior to coming to BNA she worked in a general practice firm in Hillside, Illinois. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison graduating with a major in political science where she worked for a labor litigation firm. |

The friendly voice you hear when you call our firm belongs to Missy. She has been with BNA since July, 2011. Previously she was employed at two local law firms for the past 8 years as a legal assistant. |

| Yvonne Parise - Legal Assistant | ||
Yvonne joined Borla, North & Associates in April of 2011 as the Estate Planning & Corporate Paralegal. She assists clients with the preparation of their estate planning documents such as Trust, Wills, Power of Attorneys, Amendments, Codicils and Deeds. She also handles the preparation of documents for our corporate clients including meeting Minutes, Annual Reports, Operating Agreements and Stock Certificates. Yvonne is attending the College of DuPage for her degree in Paralegal studies. |

Judy has been with BNA since April of 2004. She assists the real estate paralegals in ordering title policies, surveys, preparation of real estate documents along with handling all the post-closing issues. Previously she was employed with another law firm for 10 years as a legal secretary. |

Renee has been involved in real estate transactions for over 25 years. She is an experienced closer who has worked at BNA for 20 years. She had previously worked for a title company in Florida before coming to Illinois with Attorneys’ Title. |
