Julie Carco - Real Estate Assistant
Julie joined BNA in November 2020 as our receptionist and is now a Real Estate Assistant. If you are buying or selling a home Julie will be assisting you. She handles your real estate file from beginning to closing and handles all day-to-day phone calls and correspondence regarding your file.
Before working at BNA, Julie led the Meals on Wheels Program for 15 years. She holds an Associate’s degree in Hospitality Management. Married for 25 years, Julie is a mom to two children and loves to cook and bake for her loved ones.

Melissa Danno - Title Officer and Paralegal
Melissa joined BNA in August 2004 assisting our clients with their real estate transactions. Melissa has since accepted the responsibility of handling all matters related to insuring title for both residential and commercial properties, including search orders, preparation of title commitments and policies, documents recordings as well as acting as the title liaison to lenders and attorneys for non-office title orders.
Previously she was employed with two other Chicago firms handling foreclosures, commercial and residential real estate transactions. She received her paralegal degree at South Suburban College in 2001. Melissa has been the sunshine to our office since 2004 😉

Connie S. Dziubek - Office Manager
Connie has been with the firm since 1982. As Office Manager, her responsibilities include accounting, personnel, accounts payable and receivable, the purchase of office equipment and supplies, and employee benefits. Prior to her employ with Borla, North & Associates, she was the Office Manager for a Chicago law firm.
Jacqueline A. Kowalski - Litigation Paralegal
Jackie joined Borla, North & Associates in February 1995 as our litigation paralegal. Her duties include monitoring all our litigation files, preparation of pleadings, correspondence, scheduling cases on the court call and speaking with clients regarding all aspects of their files. She handles our business purchases and sales, divorce, post-decree and many other general areas of our practice.
Prior to coming to BNA, she worked in a general practice firm in Hillside, Illinois. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison graduating with a major in political science where she worked for a labor litigation firm. She then secured her paralegal certification in Madison, Wisconsin.

Renee Steele - Closer
Renee has been involved in real estate transactions for over 30 years. She is an experienced closer who has worked with Borla, North & Associates since 1991. She had previously worked for a title company in Florida before coming to Illinois with Attorneys' Title Guaranty Fund.
Judy Urban - Real Estate Assistant
Judy has been with BNA since April of 2004. She assists the real estate paralegals in ordering title policies, surveys, preparation of real estate documents along with handling all the post-closing issues. Previously she was employed with another law firm for 10 years as a legal secretary.
